What is Muscle Wizard?
The game is designed to be easy to learn for new players of all ages and experience levels, while still giving veteran RPG groups plenty of room for clever builds, big swings, and delightfully stupid acts of swolecery. The tone can flex from after-school club to late-night truck-stop nonsense without tearing a hamstring. Whether your table prefers slapstick comedy or drier, darker humor, the system leaves room to set the tone together.
There is no early-game stall. No level 1, 2, or 3 treadmill. No endless "I hit it again" turns. From the very first session, every build can think creatively and potentially EXPLODE! with huge results. Characters still grow over time by earning and spending Gains, lowering their risk of catastrophic Fumbles while learning to clear bigger obstacles with magic, muscle, or both.
Whether you want to play a brute, a caster, or a terrifying hybrid of the two—like the playtested, slime-mind-controlling buff rats—Muscle Wizard rewards imagination, commitment to character, and a little reckless flex appeal.
